Description

Your day begins with pickup from the meeting point between 7:30AM-8:00AM. From there, take a smooth 1.5-hour bus ride, passing rice fields and passing over the national highway. As you arrive to My Tho, board a motorboat to observe the daily activities of the local people, enjoy the atmosphere, and take a cruise on the Uper Tien River to Unicorn Island. On the way, cross the fishing port, floating houses, and all three of the Dragon, Phoenix, and Turtle islands. Back on land, visit an orchard garden and a bee farm to enjoy honey tea. Continue your journey by heading to a coconut-candy workshop. Whilst there, try special sugar-free candy and coconut wine. You then travel to a nearby tropical fruit garden to taste some local fruit accompanied by the sound of Southern Vietnamese folk music. Towards the latter end of your tour, continue on to Ben Tre province - the 'country of the coconut'. Whilst there, enjoy lunch on Phoenix Island, before receiving free time to visit the crocodile farm or monkey bridge, ride a bike around the island, or relax in a hammock. Before heading back to Ho Chi Minh, conclude with a visit to the Vinh Trang Pagoda, which was built in 1849. Following this temple, return back to Ho Chi Minh by bus.
