You leave Hanoi for the village of Dong Ho, famous for the ancient painting technique of wood block printing. Folk painting is one of the special cultural features of Vietnam. Prints are made on paper produced from local trees, and paints made from natural materials like clay and rocks, gardenia flowers, and charred bamboo leaves. With no fewer than 11 faces, and 994 eyes and arms, the statue is a beautiful and enchanting sight that you won't want to miss. Next you will enjoy a picnic lunch before moving on to Dau Pagoda, once the most important center for Vietnamese Buddhism.
