Your guided expedition commences with a pickup from the Beka Travel office or your accommodation in Cat Ba town, transporting you directly to the heart of Cat Ba National Park. As you hike from the park's entrance, your path takes you across three peaks—Ang Vat, May Bau, Ang Phay—offering brief stops for photography and to soak in the diverse viewpoints. The trek to Frog Pond unveils a realm ideal for bird watching and immersing in the untouched primary forest, leading to the park's largest freshwater lake, surrounded by unique Va Nuoc trees found only here.
