Description

Night 1: Ha Noi - Ha Giang You will be picked up from your accommodation before departing to Ha Giang on a sleeper bus. Arrive in Ha Giang early in the morning and check in to the hostel for a few hours of rest. Day 1: Ha Giang – Yen Minh Town - Dong Van (155km) Meet your guide before setting off on your adventure. Head through Bac Sum Pass and up to Heaven Gate where you can enjoy beautiful views of the Twin Mountains and Tam Son Town. Have lunch in Yen Minh Town and take a short break before driving towards Dong Van and through the picturesque Chin Khoanh Pass. Admire views of the Dong Van Karst Plateau, a UNESCO-listed geopark. Look out at the rice fields and thousands of limestone rocks and visit the hill-tribe villages where local people work the land. Check out Hmong King’s Palace, the home of Vuong’s family in Sa Phin. Arrive at Dong Van in the late afternoon and enjoy local cuisine for dinner along with live music. Day 2: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Du Gia Village (100km) After breakfast, leave Dong Van Town and head to the Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the highlights of the journey. It is well known for its abrupt cliffs and breathtaking views, often referred to as the king of the passes in Vietnam with its highest point at an altitude of 2000 meters. Set off on a trek on the Sky Path and look our over the valley and Nho Que River. From the top, enjoy panoramic views of Ma Pi Leng Pass. At the peak, take in impressive views of the mountains and river before heading down to Nho Que River and going boating. Drive through the villages of Meo Vac, Mau Due, and Lung Ho, where you'll take a break for lunch. In the afternoon, pass through the mountainous rural area of Ha Giang province to Du Gia Town. In the late afternoon, relax in the cool waters of the Du Gia Waterfall or take a walk through the peaceful surroundings. Spend a night in a homestay located in the middle of green rice fields. Day 3: Du Gia Village – Ha Giang – Ha Noi (80km) On the last day of the journey, visit Lung Tam, home to the Hmong ethnic group, known for their textile products. Cross Quan Ba Town and admire Nui Doi Mountain. After crossing the Sky Gate, pass back by Bac Sum Pass, arriving in Ha Giang in late afternoon, before taking the sleeper bus back back to Hanoi.
