Description

Your Motorbike Food Tour begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel at 12PM, 3PM or 5:30 PM, depending on your chosen start time. After meeting your friendly guide and receiving a short safety introduction, you hop onto the back of a comfortable motorbike—ready to explore Hue the authentic local way. 1. Your first stop is a small neighborhood famous for its mussel noodle (Cơm Hến / Bún Hến). Here, you get to taste a flavorful blend of herbs, crispy toppings, and fragrant mussels while your guide explains the cultural story behind this iconic dish. 2. Next, you ride through the scenic Citadel streets to a cozy family shop specializing in traditional Hue cakes: bánh bèo, bánh nậm, and bánh lọc. These delicate steamed cakes represent the refined royal cuisine Hue is known for, and your guide shows you how each one is made. 3. From here, your guide takes you to a beloved local eatery to enjoy Bún Bò Huế, the dish that defines the city. The rich broth, lemongrass aroma, and tender beef reveal why this noodle soup has become famous worldwide. 4. Continuing the motorbike adventure, you head into small backstreets to try Bánh Mì made from a secret recipe passed down for three generations. The combination of crispy bread, fresh vegetables, and homemade fillings makes this stop unforgettable. 5. You then cross the Perfume River area and visit a traditional restaurant to taste Bánh Khoái, also known as “Hue Happy Cake.” Crispy, hot, and dipped in a special peanut-sesame sauce, this dish is a perfect example of Hue’s creative street food culture. 6. To finish your food journey on a sweet note, your guide brings you to a local dessert shop for Chè Huế—a colorful combination of beans, jelly, fruits, and coconut milk. It’s refreshing and beloved by locals of all ages. Throughout the tour, your guide shares stories about Hue’s history, royal traditions, local lifestyle, and the origins of each dish. Riding through hidden alleys, riverside paths, and vibrant night streets gives you a deep, authentic experience that you won’t find in tourist areas. Your tour ends with a safe drop-off back at your hotel, leaving you with a happy stomach and a true taste of Hue’s rich culinary soul.
