Description

Enjoy a 2-day tour from Hanoi to Sapa with accommodation and transfers included. Visit Cat Cat village and take a cable car up Fansipan Peak on a jam-packed multi-day tour. Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa – Cat Cat village (Meal included: lunch and dinner) Depart at 6:15 AM and meet at 204 Tran Quang Khai street. Hop aboard a sleeper bus to depart for Sapa. Stop for short breaks in Phu Tho Province and Lao Cai city for light breakfast or coffee before arriving in Sapa Town. Be greeted by a representative in Sapa and enjoy lunch with local Vietnamese dishes. Choose 1 of 2 options below (as you book, the local partner will contact you to arrange this). Option 1: Trek to Cat Cat village in the afternoon, the home of the Black H’Mong people. See the Cat Cat Waterfall and the hydrofoil constructed by the French during the 19th century. Visit a local H’Mong family and learn about their culture and customs. Trek back to Sapa for dinner and spend the night in a hotel in Sapa. Option 2: Transfer to Ma Tra village, one of the less touristy villages of the Hmong people. Take a nice trekking route before transferring to Taphin village, home of the Red Zdao people. Visit a local market before a transfer back to Sapa. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel. Day 2: Sapa – Fansipan Peak – Hanoi (meals included: breakfast, lunch) After breakfast, enjoy a transfer to the cable car station. Your driver or guide will help you buy your cable car ticket (at your own expense) . Take the 20-minute cable car ride up to Fansipan by yourself. Admire the spectacular scenery, visit the pagoda, and climb the 600 steps to the peak, known as the Roof of Indochina. Return to Sapa and have lunch at the hotel. Enjoy time to explore Sapa on your own before boarding the sleeper bus back to Hanoi. Get dropped off at Tran Quang Khai street about 8:30 PM - 8:45 PM. From here you can make your way back to your hotel by yourself.

  • Trekking shoes, sunglasses, sun cream, and insect repellent are also recommended
  • Remember to bring any needed medication with you
  • You should bring cash in Vietnamese Dong because the banking system in Sapa sometimes does not function well; U.S. dollars, Euros, and Australian dollars are accepted in Sapa
  • There is no guide on the 2nd day, only a driver
  • The sleeper bus has berths for 1 person and separate cabins for 2 people
  • The type of bus is a local sleeper bus, unless you want to upgrade to single cabin
