Sunsea Luxury Resort
Vietnam
Set on the first part of the beautiful and tranquil Mui Ne beach strip is the modern resort oasis called Sunsea.
A walk from the front entrance of Sunsea, through the hotel resort grounds, all the way to the beach is an experience in itself; everything is immaculate, clean, and architecturally interesting and varied. You will glide along the smooth-lined path passing the suite buildings, then turn to see the private bungalow dwellings and lastly be greeted by the rush of the sea, the sun, the sleek bar and Thai restaurant, and of course, the infinity pool complete with drape-covered lounging beds.
The styling all around the resort and in the rooms combines a blend of woods, metals and ceramics which constructs an artistic balance of earthy/natural and utterly modern style. Soothing water fountains dot all along the concrete walking paths and create an almost Grecian aura; when they change colors at night, it evokes the mood of a cool California resort or beach club.
There are two different pools to enjoy, each fit with a completely different setting. The first pool is set in front of a two story strip of rooms (the Pool View suites), yet it still feels almost hidden by the suite building and somewhat private, as it is surrounded by plush greenery and tropical plants. The second pool is definitely the main attraction at Sunsea: an infinity pool surrounded by white-draped, four-post lounging beds with the proximity and view of the ocean and the beach, as well as a resort-lining strip of towering, atmospheric palm trees.
If you are travelling with friends or a family with teenagers, consider booking one of the Pool View Suites with two connecting rooms for the combination of privacy but closeness. If you want the ultimate experience of luxury, opt for one of the bungalows and have coffee on your porch as you watch the sun rise, as well as be steps away from the beach, pool, or the best Thai food restaurant in town.
