A peaceful heaven luxury resort
Pause and look around. You’re at Ana Mandara Villas Dalat. Seventeen villas, converted into 72 accommodation, line cobble-stone roads and verdant gardens. In the valley below is the French art deco city of Dalat. Beyond are distant mountains, a cool blue sky and later, a starry night.
Each accommodation brings difference vibe with distingue design and interior. Room featured old wooden ceilings and mountain views, while the other room had a working fireplace and old wooden doors leading directly into the garden. All rooms had wooden floors, the creaking sound of the floorboards adding its charm to the experience. Both rooms also had beautiful large bathrooms with free standing bath tubs which we very much appreciated on cold Dalat evenings. The furniture and decor was dark wood in style with the design of the villas. There was no plastic to be seen anywhere in the room. Toiletries came in refillable large ceramic dispensers. All together give you the cozy felling like staying at home.
This is not your typical resort. This is a part of history. Burgeoning in the 1920’s and 1930’s, when a young Dalat was just beginning to burst from the seams, French villas were raised along the city’s winding hillsides to accommodate French nobles and officials. It’s just five minutes’ drive from Dalat city Centre.
Meticulously preserved and bursting with character, Ana Mandara Villas Dalat aim to bring you back to bygone years and forgotten times, when a day was spent walking along a grassy knoll or dozing off by a crackling fireplace.
Whole hill were re-constructed for resort purpose with outdoor heated swimming pool, adding Le Petit Restaurant and La Cochinchine Spa into those Villas turn whole resort into a small countryside village set aside the crowded city life with just five minutes drive from city center. While walking around the resort, guest can spot our green garden where we grow organic vegetable and herb along with fruit trees in the garden around villas.
If the city is a roaring racket, Ana Mandara Villas Dalat is a soft melody you whistle to yourself while on the back porch of a country cabin.
