The Opera House - Saigon

Vietnam

Landmarks & Museums Things To Do

This French Colonial Opera House was built by Eugene Ferret in 1897. It was designed and decorated with gorgeous details and is a popular photograph spot for all tourists.

Surrounded by a wide boulevard, famous hotels and shopping streets, this is great place to sit on the stairs in front of the Opera House and see the people go by. If you did not know where you were and there were not so many Vietnamese people on motorbikes, you would think you were in Paris!

The inside of the Opera House is only visible and open for the public during events. To watch one of the magnificent shows you can book through the Opera House website and once in Saigon you can visit in person to book your seats.
