In the so called 'backpacker's area' you have Bui Vien street, which is one of the most popular streets for tourists to hang out and enjoy their time, either during the day or for nightlife.

Along the whole street you can relax and enjoy people watching! Sit down on a red plastic chair positioned on the sidewalk, have a drink and a chat at one of the many bars! Great spot to have a bite for lunch or dinner in a restaurant or at a street food vendor. You can easly book your trips and tours at one of the many tour companies that share a wall with the bars on this street. Get a suit tailored to your needs overnight, buy souvenirs, watch sports then relax in your hotel so you can do it all again!

This is definitely a place to visit, but be sure to break away from this area to experience what Ho Chi Minh City is really like, as local Vietnamese people rarely hang out here!
