Located in a small village about 20 km away from Hanoi, Bat Trang is a seven-century old pottery village. This small place produces products that have been exported to many countries, making it well known all over the world for beautiful delicate ceramics and potteries.
Bat Trang products are mostly for daily household use such as tea sets, bowls, cups, plates, bottles and for worshipping purposes.
When visiting Bat Trang, you can go for a ride, take a walk or join a buffalo tour for sightseeing and shopping. There are many ceramic stores with various product types in the village. You also can visit Bat Trang Porcelain and Pottery Market where you can make a bowl or a cup yourself. It is definitely an interesting experience.
