Bookworm

Established in August of 2001 as a book exchange for expat readers of English language books, it is now owned and operated by young Vietnamese.

Having over 10,000 books in stock, Bookworm's customer base is comprised of about 30% Vietnamese, 40% expat, and 30% travelers. The book store opens every day from 9:00 - 21:00 and closes on big national and international holidays. 

The Bookworm supports many charitable activities such as: Xa Me Humanitarian Program, the Blue Dragon Children's Foundation, eye operations programs for disadvantaged children, Agent Orange causes, and providing scholarships to Hanoi Agriculture University for poor students. 

The shop also has various events such as author talks, book launches, and bookworm art space.
