- The tour starts with a visit to the Reunification Palace is the symbolic site of the end of the Vietnam War during the Fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975. The journey continues with the visit to the War Remnants Museum. Once called the Museum of American War Crimes, this popular museum gathers a comprehensive collection of war machinery, weapons, artifacts. Later in the morning, you will stop by Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Central Post Office, two of the best examples of classical old Saigon architecture. At approximately 01:00 PM, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.In the afternoon, you can visit Thien Hau Pagoda, one of the oldest historical pagodas of the Chinese people in Ho Chi Minh City, and Soai Kinh Lam Fabric Market, the oldest and biggest wholesale and retail fabric market in the city.The tour will end around late afternoon when you'll be transferred back to Phu My Port - The Independence Palace During the Vietnam War, the Independence Palace served as the residence and office of South Vietnamese President Nguyen Van Thieu. It was designated as a historical monument for having witnessed significant changes in Saigon's history and keeping the essence of Eastern culture. - War Remnants Museum is a museum in Ho Chi Minh City that specializes in researching, collecting, preserving, displaying materials, images and artifacts about the evidence of crimes and consequences of wars that invading forces have caused to Vietnam. The museum was established on September 4th, 1975 and is now a member of the system of Vietnamese museums, museums for world peace (INMP), and the International Council of Museums (ICOM) - Central Post Office The Saigon Central Post Office is a post office located in the downtown Ho Chi Minh City. The Saigon Central Post Office was constructed from 1886-1891 and depicts classic elements of Gothic, Renaissance and French colonial design. -Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral Nhà thờ Đức Bà Sài Gòn (Immaculate Conception Cathedral Basilica) is the largest and most unique cathedral in Ho Chi Minh City.The construction of the cathedral began in 1863 and was completed in 1880 by French architect J. Bourad -Ba Thien Hau Temple Thien Hau Pagoda is one of the oldest historical pagodas of the Chinese people in Ho Chi Minh City. It was built in the early 19th century and has all Chinese architecture characteristics with 4 houses linked to each other and have a small yard among the houses. - Soai Kinh Lam fabric market Soai Kinh Lam Fabric Market is the oldest and biggest wholesale and retail fabric market in this hustle and bustle city. Many tailors and designers within the city often visit this market to purchase their customers’ favorite types of fabric. The market has a history of over 100 years and was established by Chinese immigrants who came to Vietnam in the early 20th century.
