Begin your adventure with a pickup from Ho Chi Minh City and drive to Can Gio Mangrove Forest, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Explore the mangrove forest by canoe and observe the unique ecosystem, local wildlife, and peaceful rivers. Continue to the Can Gio Local Seafood Market to see fishermen’s daily life and fresh seafood.
Take a boat to Thanh An Island, a quiet fishing island with rustic charm. Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch prepared by locals. Take a walking tour through the village, stone walkways, salt fields, mangrove areas, and fishing boats.
Admire the beautiful sunset at Thanh An pier — one of the highlights of the island. Check in to a local island homestay, relax, and enjoy the peaceful evening. Spend the night on Thanh An Island.
The next day, have breakfast at the homestay. Depart Thanh An by speedboat to Vung Tau, enjoying scenic views of the coast. Visit the historic Vung Tau Lighthouse for panoramic views. Continue to the famous Statue of Jesus Christ (Zeus) — one of the tallest Christ statues in Asia.
Relax at a beachfront coffee shop overlooking the sea. Drive along the beautiful Vung Tau coastal road, stopping for photos at scenic points. Taste local Vung Tau street food (bánh khọt, seafood snacks, or coconut ice cream). Visit Dinh Mountain for cool breezes and a spectacular view of Vung Tau City. Stop at a peaceful local pagoda before heading to the hotel or transferring to Mui Ne.
Transfer to Mui Ne (arrival in the evening). Check in to your hotel in Mui Ne and rest.
On the final day, depart for the iconic White Sand Dunes. Enjoy an exciting ATV ride on the dunes. Capture breathtaking sunrise views over the desert-like landscape (optional but highly recommended).
