DAY 1: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Overnight Train to Sapa (L) Begin your journey with a morning transfer from Hanoi to Ninh Binh. Enjoy a peaceful sampan boat ride through Tam Coc’s rice fields and limestone cliffs, followed by lunch at a local restaurant. Hike to the top of Mua Cave for one of the best panoramic views in northern Vietnam. Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon and board the overnight soft-sleeper train to Lao Cai for an authentic local travel experience. DAY 2: Lao Cai – Sapa – Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai & Ta Van Trekking (B/L) Arrive early in Lao Cai and transfer uphill to Sapa. After breakfast, begin your guided trek through the breathtaking Muong Hoa Valley, following the scenic route from Y Linh Ho to Lao Chai and Ta Van. Walk along terraced rice fields, bamboo forests, and mountain trails while learning about the culture of the Black Hmong and Giay ethnic groups. Enjoy lunch en route before returning to Sapa town for free time to relax or explore at your own pace. Overnight at your selected hotel. DAY 3: Cat Cat Village – Return to Hanoi (B/L) After breakfast, begin a light trek to Cat Cat Village, a traditional Hmong village known for its waterfalls, rice terraces, and local handicrafts. Explore the peaceful valley, visit craft houses, and enjoy the scenic mountain atmosphere.
