Mekong Delta Floating Market 2 Days 1 Night ( My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho Cai Rang Floating Market ) Start: 7:40 AN – Return: 5:30 PM next day Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Ben Tre - Can Tho (Lunch) Start your tour with a pick-up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City or meeting point 243 De Tham St, District 1. Drive to My Tho and take a boat trip along the Mekong River. See fish cages and floating houses on the river from the motorboat. Then, take a small hand-rowing boat and cruise through a small creek with overhanging coconut trees. Disembark at a coconut island in Ben Tre and learn how to make coconut candies. Sample some of the candies and enjoy a walk around the village. Continue on the river until reaching Cồn Thới Sơn (Unicorn Island). Take a motor car to a performance site where you can hear Vietnamese traditional music and taste seasonal tropical fruit. Pass through a bee-keeping farm and enjoy honey tea. Then, have lunch outside under the shade of the trees. After lunch, relax, walk around the village, or go for a short bike ride around the village on the island. Travel by ferry and bus to Can Tho, the heart of the Mekong Delta. Check in to your hotel and enjoy free time to explore the city. Day 2: Can Tho - Cai Rang Floating Market - Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast, Lunch) Start the day with breakfast and a motorboat ride to the Cai Rang Floating Market, the biggest and most colorful floating market in the Mekong Delta. After the market, roam through the village and see a rice noodles making shop. Get on the boat to eat pineapple. Next, visit the traditional market on the shore of local people in the city center. After that, visit Truc Lam Phuong Nam Zen Monastery. Have lunch at My Khanh restaurant. After lunch, walk in the tourist village to explore interesting games of local people. Say goodbye to Can Tho city and return to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at 5:30 PM.
