Description

Explore the Paradise Cave and Phong Nha Botanical Garden on a full-day tour from Dong Hoi. Discover the longest dry cave in Asia and trek through the botanical garden to see the Wind Waterfall and Vang Anh Lake. Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Dong Hoi or Phong Nha. Travel to the Paradise Cave, which was discovered by scientists from the British Cave Research Association in 2005. Ride a buggy through the dense forest for about 2 kilometers, then climb about 500 rocky steps to reach the cave. Explore the cave and see the special stalagmites and stalactites system with sparkling, mysterious beauty. At an altitude of 360 meters above sea level, the cave's temperature ranges from 9 to 10 degrees Celsius. Walk 1 kilometer in the cave on the stairs. After your visit to the cave, stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to the Phong Nha Botanical Garden, which is rich in a variety of fauna and flora. Trek through the proper jungle with remote habitats and experience the tropical forest in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. See the Wind Waterfall and Vang Anh Lake, and walk on the pathway to see monkeys and porcupines in the wild and in a semi-wild zone. Learn about the 'Secret Route' which soldiers used to walk through the jungle to hide from American bombs during the war. See the 'Weapon Cave,' which was made by the army to store all the weapons. Join the locals for a BBQ lunch at the rocky mountain cliff and 'Weapon Cave.' After your trek, refresh yourself in a natural swimming pool before returning to Dong Hoi or Phong Nha.
