Description

Start your day with an early pickup from your hotel in Da Nang to Da Nang Train Station. As you wind your way along the famous Hai Van Pass by Heritage Train, the views just keep getting better, misty mountains on one side and the sparkling coastline on the other. Make sure to have your camera ready for stops at Hai Van Peak, where the scenery is nothing short of spectacular. Then, stop at Lang Co Station, a van will take you and transfer you to Lap An Lagoon, where the mountains reflect perfectly in the still water. Once you arrive in Hue, you’ll head straight to the Hue Imperial Citadel to discover more of Hue’s royal past. Step inside the Imperial Citadel, where your guide will bring the stories of the Forbidden Purple City to life. Walk under ancient gates, through quiet courtyards, and imagine the days when emperors ruled from these very halls. After exploring, it’s time to unwind. Enjoy a lunch of Hue’s signature dishes, with each bite giving you a taste of the city’s rich culinary heritage. After lunch, relax with a calming herbal footbath that soothes your feet and refreshes your mind. Once you finish lunch, the next stop is the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda by the Perfume River. It’s a peaceful, spiritual place and a perfect spot to reflect on everything you’ve seen and learned. Before heading back, there’s one last stop: the Mausoleum of Emperor Khai Dinh. This isn’t just another historical site; it’s an incredible mix of Eastern and Western styles, with every detail telling a story about the Nguyen Dynasty. Wander through the grand staircases and mosaic-covered walls, and take your time soaking up the atmosphere that’s both regal and mysterious. As the day winds down, you’ll travel back to your hotel in comfort by van, with new memories and a deeper appreciation for the history and beauty of central Vietnam.
