Explore the ancient capital of Vietnam on a 2-day tour from Hanoi. Visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Trang An, and the Cuc Phuong National Park. Enjoy a boat ride, a cave visit, and a trek through the forest. Day 1: Hanoi - Hoa Lu - Trang An – Mua Cave Start your tour with a pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and transfer to Ninh Binh. Make a stop to stretch your legs and have a quick snack. Visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1010. Then visit the Temple of Dinh King and Le King to learn more about Vietnamese history under the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties. Join a 30-minute cycling activity to discover the life of the local people. Alternatively, relax in the restaurant and capture the views around the lake, waterfall, and valleys. Have a buffet lunch with local specialties in the private area of the Trang An Heritage Garden. Then, spend 1.5 hours on a boat ride to enjoy the beauty of Trang An, a World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO in 2014. Next, visit Mua Cave. Climb 500 steps to reach the mountain's peak, overlooking the beautiful view of the city and Tam Coc below. Transfer back to Trang An Heritage Garden and check in to your room. Enjoy swimming at the pool in the summer. Have dinner at the restaurant and spend the night at Trang An Heritage Garden. Day 2: Cuc Phuong National Park - Hanoi Have breakfast at the restaurant and check out of your room. Get picked up by your guide and transfer to Cuc Phuong National Park. Visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Center and the Turtle Conservation Center. Go to the center of the park by minivan, about 20 kilometers through the primary forest. Have lunch at the center of the park with local foods. Trek to visit the 1000 Years Old Tree and the Ancient Tree. Continue taking a short trek into the National Park for sightseeing and learn more about the fauna and flora in this oldest forest of Vietnam. Visit the Cave of Prehistoric Man. Transfer back to Mua Cave and then to Hanoi. Get dropped off at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.
