The journey starts at Sapa Stone Church, where you begin hiking uphill to Ham Rong Mountain. From the summit, enjoy a beautiful bird’s-eye view of Sapa town nestled among mountains and mist. This first climb sets the tone for an intense and rewarding experience.
Continuing onward, you ascend Sa Xeng Mountain, which stands higher and opens wider views across Sapa city and part of the stunning Muong Hoa Valley below. From here, terraced fields, winding roads, and distant villages create a dramatic landscape.
The adventure deepens as you climb three unnamed mountains, accessible only by narrow dirt trails. These hidden viewpoints offer completely new perspectives of Sapa — panoramic scenes of mountain ranges, scattered ethnic villages, green hills, and, on lucky days, spectacular seas of clouds rolling beneath your feet.
