Description

2-Day Trekking and 1-Night Homestay Day 1: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (10–13 km, ~5–7 hours) • The tour starts at 9:00 AM. I will meet you in front of the main church in Sapa Town. • After a short introduction, we'll leave Sapa and trek down to Y Linh Ho Village, passing through beautiful landscapes along the way. • We’ll stop for drinks in the village and enjoy the stunning rice fields. • Next, we continue to Lao Chai, one of the oldest and largest Hmong villages, where we will stop for lunch. Afterward, we'll visit a traditional Hmong house. • From there, we trek to Ta Van Village, home to the Giay and Hmong ethnic groups. Depending on the season, you may see locals planting or harvesting rice. Along the way, I'll share insights into the cultural differences between the ethnic groups. We will stay in Ta Van or my house in Hau Thao • Upon arrival at homestay, you can rest, take a hot shower, and relax. • In the evening, we’ll enjoy dinner together and celebrate with some “Happy Water” (local rice wine). Day 2: Su Pan – Giang Ta Chai – Sapa (8 ~ 10 km, ~3–4 ~ hours) • Start the morning with a cup of hot coffee or tea while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the homestay. • After breakfast, we’ll trek through bamboo forests and terraced rice fields, leading to the beautiful Giang Ta Chai Waterfall. • If you’d like, you can swim in the cool water for a refreshing experience in the heart of nature. • Depending on the season, there may be no water during the dry season • We then continue into the Red Dao ethnic area before reaching the main road. • Enjoy a final lunch before taking a taxi back to Sapa. • The tour will finish between 2:00 – 3:30 ~ 4 PM. We have two options for your luggage during the 2-day, 1-night trek: Option 1: Leave your luggage at the hotel If you have a big suitcase that you won’t need during the trek and overnight at the homestay, I know a hotel in Sapa where you can safely leave it. You only bring a small backpack with the essentials for the trip 2D1N This option is very convenient, especially when you return to Sapa after the tour. If you have a late bus or would like to walk around town before departure, it’s much easier to move around with just a small bag. When it’s almost time to catch your bus, you can go back to the hotel, pick up your luggage, and then head to the bus. You can leave your suitcase at this location before going to the meeting point, and you can also have breakfast there if you like https://maps.app.goo.gl/wamn8Ytie1tthEjy5?g_st=ipc If you are already staying at another hotel, you can leave your luggage there. Option 2: Bring all your belongings If you prefer to bring everything with you, you can take all your luggage to the meeting point. We will drive your big bag directly to the homestay for you. During the trek, you only need to carry a small backpack with what you need for the day. In the evening, your big bag will be at the homestay. Up to you which option you prefer Thank you
