HOA LU – TAM COC OR TRANG AN – MUA CAVE - CYCLING - 1 DAY TRIP

07:00 – 7.30: Get picked up hotels in Hanoi old quarter or Hanoi Opera house 01 Trang Tien street & start the Ninh Binh full day tour (time to pick up depending your hotel locations...)
09:15: Have a short break for 15 – 20 mins to relax (Diver & tour guide had to wake up early in the morning to work, they just need to rest for a while to have more energy. Customers can stop to go to toilet, buy some snacks or stretching legs..Pls don't buy anything if it's too much or not good...)
10:30: Visit Hoa Lu ancient capital of Vietnam between 968 and 1010. You have a chance to learn about Vietnamese history in the feudal system under Dinh, Le and Ly Dynasty.
11:15-11:45: Optional: Cycling around the village to discover the life of local people (Just for fun & free)
12:00: Have lunch in the restaurant with a lot of local foods goat meat, fried rice….Vegetarian foods is always available at the lunch.
Customers must choose either Trang An or Tam Coc; visiting both is not possible.
13:30: Explore Tam Coc on a 1.5-hour bamboo-boat trip through a landscape with paddy fields, a river, water, clouds, sky, and a stunning cave system, known as Ha Long Bay on land. (Notes: Please don't tip if asked by local/ rowers, don't buy anything if it's expensive on the river & boat trip - We cannot stop them, they work for local admin, they are not our staff, just warning)
OR 13:30: Boat Tour in Trang An - Cruise along crystal-clear rivers on a traditional sampan boat (4 people/boat), gliding gently through mystical caves and under limestone arches draped in greenery. Trang An is called “Ha Long Bay on land” and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
15:15: Get back to the bus then leave for Mua Cave (Dancing Cave). Walk up almost 500 steps, you can reach to the top of Lying Dragon Mountain & have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here. Customers can stop anywhere on the way up or just stay at the bottom of the mountain, walking around to take a picture or take a coffee while waiting for others if don't want to climb up the Mua cave mountain....
16:45 - 17:00: Get on the bus to return to Hanoi.
Around 19:00 – 19:30: Get dropped off at hotels in Hanoi old quarter.

Transfers with experienced driver (check & choose options. Pick up & drop off at the hotel/ address in hanoi old quarter but traffic is very crazy, small valley or many streets will be closed/ walking street when pick up & drop off time. Maybe Customers need to walk a bit or transfers from hotel to the bus by motorcycle...). We will inform in advance when we know customer's address details.

From July 01, 2026, the Vietnamese government stopped all the tourist buses to come inside Hanoi Old Quarter. So, we will confirm exactly pickup point and time before the departure date. Pickup and drop-off services will be provided along the following streets: Hai Bà Trưng, Tràng Thi, Phùng Hưng, Hàng Đậu, Trần Nhật Duật, Trần Quang Khải, Nhà Hát Lớn, Tràng Tiền, Lý Thường Kiệt...
Important Information
- Because of group tour, we will stop on the halfway (international shopping center), many tourists need to relax, toilets...souvenirs are expensive here but customers don't have to buy (wallet in your own)...
- Surcharge: 15 USD per person on Holiday: Dec 31, 2026. Jan 01, 2027 and Lunar New year holiday: Feb, 05,06,07,08 - 2027 (Please pay cash directly on tour)
- With included entrance fees options: the price is based on current fares (Hoa Lu Temple is 20.000 VND; Mua Cave is 150.000 VND; Trang An and boat trip is 250.000 VND; Tam Coc and boat trip is 200.000 VND per person). We will notify immediately if any changes
- We can pick up from all hotels & address in Hanoi old quarter around 7.00 - 7.30am depending the locations. If you stay in Hanoi old quarter, but don't see your hotel/address in the list - No worries, you can choose any hotel option that you can see just to finish the booking, then we will come to pick up
