Description

Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter. Head to the pier and board your boat for a scenic cruise along the Red River.

As you sail, take in the fresh breeze and see the daily life of local fishing villages, busy trading boats, and ancient temples along the riverbanks.

Go ashore to visit two deeply spiritual places. First, explore the Dam Temple, dedicated to Mother Water (Mau Thuy). Next, visit Dai Lo Temple, built during the Tran Dynasty (13th century) to honor the Holy Mothers of the Earth, Heaven, Mountains, and Waters.

Return to the boat and continue cruising to Chu Dong Tu Temple. Your guide will share the famous, touching love story of a poor fisherman and a beautiful princess, representing love, kindness, and freedom.

Enjoy a freshly prepared Vietnamese lunch on the boat while looking out at the peaceful countryside scenery. After lunch, sail back upriver to the famous Bat Trang Ceramic Village. Walk through small alleys, learn how locals have made beautiful pottery by hand for over 700 years, and shop for unique souvenirs.

Board the boat one last time and relax as you cruise back to the city center during the beautiful afternoon light. Arrive back at the original pier and enjoy a convenient transfer back to your hotel.
