Begin your experience with a welcome drink of Vietnamese lotus tea or spring water while your instructor introduces the materials and techniques used in lacquer art. Choose between a prepared design or your own idea, and work on a wooden base using accessible techniques inspired by traditional lacquer methods.

Use natural materials such as eggshells and seashells to build texture and pattern into your piece, and receive step-by-step guidance from your instructor while leaving room for your own artistic choices.

Once your artwork is finished, take it home as a memento of your time in Hanoi. Before or after your session, spend a few minutes on the building's other floors, where finished lacquer pieces are on display.
