Discover northern Vietnam on a relaxed 4-day journey that combines a luxury overnight cruise in Ha Long Bay or Lan Ha Bay with an extended stay in the peaceful landscapes of Ninh Binh. Designed for travelers who want comfort, iconic scenery, and a slower pace, this experience blends nature, culture, and relaxation without rushing.
Day 1: Hanoi → Ha Long Bay or Lan Ha Bay (Lunch, Dinner)
Begin your journey with a morning pickup from Hanoi’s Old Quarter and travel comfortably to the cruise lounge. After check-in, board your selected 5-star or 6-star luxury cruise and settle into your private balcony cabin.
Enjoy lunch onboard as the cruise sails through dramatic limestone karsts rising from emerald waters. Depending on the route, explore Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave and relax or swim at Titop Island in Ha Long Bay, or kayak and swim at quieter spots such as Dark & Bright Cave or Ba Trai Dao Beach in Lan Ha Bay (weather permitting).
In the late afternoon, unwind with sunset views, tea or coffee, and a hands-on cooking class. Spend the evening at leisure with activities like squid fishing, movies, or simply relaxing on deck. Overnight on board your luxury cruise.
Day 2: Ha Long/Lan Ha Bay → Ninh Binh (Breakfast, Lunch)
Start the day with sunrise views or a Tai Chi session on the sundeck, followed by a light breakfast. Continue exploring the bay with a morning excursion such as kayaking through lagoons or visiting additional caves, depending on your cruise route.
Late morning, disembark and travel by limousine to Ninh Binh. Check in to your accommodation—a clean hotel or homestay with a private room, arranged by the tour operator. Enjoy a free evening to relax and take in the peaceful countryside atmosphere. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 3: Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Mua Cave (Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast, explore the ancient capital of Hoa Lu and learn about Vietnam’s early dynasties. Enjoy a short cycling experience through local villages and rural landscapes before lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, take a scenic Tam Coc rowing boat ride along winding rivers, rice fields, and limestone formations. Later, climb Mua Cave for one of the most panoramic viewpoints in Ninh Binh, overlooking the Tam Coc valley at sunset. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 4: Bai Dinh – Trang An → Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)
Begin your final day with a visit to Bai Dinh Pagoda, the largest Buddhist complex in Vietnam. After lunch, enjoy a peaceful Trang An boat trip, gliding through caves, limestone mountains, and tranquil waterways—a UNESCO-listed landscape often called “Ha Long Bay on land.”
In the afternoon, return to Hanoi and enjoy drop-off at the Old Quarter or a central location, marking the end of your journey.

- Important: The visiting order between Halong/Lan Ha Bay and Ninh Binh may change due to weather or cruise operations, but all key experiences are guaranteed.
For 5-star or 6-star cruises, the route (Halong Bay or Lan Ha Bay) depends on daily availability.
Two dinners in Ninh Binh are not included. Guests may dine at the hotel restaurant or enjoy local food at their own expense.
Accommodation in Ninh Binh will be at a standard hotel or homestay with a private room and clean private bathroom.
Transfers for HN – HL – Ninh Binh are operated by a driver only (no guide on the bus)
