Description
Day 0: Get picked up from Hanoi Old Quarter and take the night bus. Arrive in Ha Giang City early in the morning. We offer a free private hostel room where you can rest for a few hours.
Day 1: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van
Begin your adventure with a local breakfast of Ha Giang’s steamed rice rolls. Stop at Quan Ba Heaven Gate for sweeping views of the Twin Mountains and the valley below. Pause at the Lonely Tree and Can Ty Slope, simple but iconic spots for photos and fresh air.
Have lunch in Yen Minh, a quiet town surrounded by limestone hills. Visit Sao Ha Village to experience nature and culture. Drive along the winding curves of Tham Ma Pass, one of the most scenic roads. Explore the Vu Family Mansion, more than 100 years old, with its stone stairs, wooden doors, and timeless atmosphere.
Arrive in Dong Van and check in at Serenity Bungalow. This is our company's private bungalow (most other tours offer stays in a dorm room).
Day 2: Dong Van - Ma Pi Leng - Lung Cu
Start your day with a warm breakfast at the homestay. Conquer the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of Vietnam’s “Four Great Mountain Passes,” with sweeping views of limestone cliffs embracing the emerald Nho Que River. Hike for 10 minutes to get to a unique viewpoint named Mi Po coffee and enjoy a cup of Vietnamese coffee with a 'million-dollar view.'
Take a boat trip along the Nho Que River, gliding through the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia. Enjoy lunch in Meo Vac. Pause for a coffee break at Deo Gio (Windy Pass), where you can soak in the panoramic mountain scenery. Visit Thien Huong Village, home to the Tay people, and see its 500-year-old ancient tree.
Head to Lung Cu Flag Tower, the northernmost point of Vietnam, then explore Lo Lo Chai Village, known for its earthen houses and vibrant cultural traditions. Return to Dong Van for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Dong Van - Ban Ang Waterfall
Check out and enjoy breakfast. On Sundays, depart earlier to catch the vibrant weekly ethnic market, a rare chance to see local minority groups trading and gathering. After breakfast, visit the Youth Monument, a symbol of Ha Giang’s history and spirit.
Pause for a drink and short rest at the Meo Vac Information Center. Stop at the iconic Letter M Curve, famous for its nine sharp bends winding dramatically along the mountainside. Discover the art of traditional weaving at Lung Tam Linen Village, where Hmong artisans keep their centuries-old craft alive.
Continue to Ban Ang Waterfall, a hidden gem cascading down the mountains in a serene setting. This is a unique place that you cannot find on other companies' itineraries.
Board the bus back to Hanoi, bringing your unforgettable adventure to a close.
