Morning
Setting off from Dong Hoi:
Our day begins with a sense of excitement as we gather in Dong Hoi, check our motorbikes, and set out along the Nhat Le coastal road. The ride is easy and refreshing, with cool sea breezes and open roads—a perfect way to ease into the adventure ahead.
Breakfast & Exploration at Nhan Trach Fishing Village:
Our first stop is the lively Nhan Trach fishing port. We arrive just as the boats return, watching fishermen unload their catch and sort through the morning’s haul. It’s fascinating to witness this slice of daily life and to capture authentic moments of the local fishing community. After exploring, we enjoy a delicious local breakfast, fueling up for the journey ahead.
Coffee Break at Cu Nam Pine Hill:
Next, we wind our way up to Cu Nam pine hill, riding through beautiful hillside roads. Under the shade of tall pines, we pause for a relaxing coffee break. The fresh air and peaceful surroundings invite us to take a gentle walk, recharge, and soak in the tranquil atmosphere before our farm adventure.
At Noon
Farm Tour & Cooking at The Duck Tang’s Farm:
Arriving at The Duck Tang’s Farm, we’re welcomed into the rhythms of rural life. We learn about the farm’s duck-raising practices and then roll up our sleeves for a hands-on cooking experience. Using fresh, local ingredients, we prepare traditional Vietnamese dishes together. Sharing the meal we’ve made is a highlight—delicious and deeply satisfying. After lunch, there’s time to rest before we try out authentic farm activities: riding a buffalo, feeding ducks, fishing, and experiencing the joys of the countryside.
Afternoon
Relaxing by a Mountain Stream:
In the afternoon, we ride along scenic routes flanked by mountains and forests, eventually reaching a small, serene stream. Here, we unwind—soaking our feet in cool water, sipping coffee by the stream, or even taking a refreshing dip. It’s a peaceful, grounding moment that brings us closer to nature.
Final Ride Back to Dong Hoi:
Rejuvenated, we set off on the final stretch: a motorbike journey through breathtaking mountain scenery back to Dong Hoi. The sense of freedom, the fresh air, and the stunning views make this ride the perfect ending to a memorable day.
