With this custom private tour, you have complete freedom to choose your own route and pace.
If you travel from Hanoi to Ninh Binh, there will be a 20-minute stop along the way for you to use the restroom or have breakfast. The driver will also stop for a coffee to stay alert throughout the journey.
Pick from top attractions such as:
Trang An or Tam Coc – boat trips through caves and rice fields
Hang Mua – climb to the famous dragon viewpoint
Hoa Lu – ancient capital temples
Cycle through the peaceful village roads of Tam Coc, crossing gentle rivers and vast, scenic rice fields
Bai Dinh Pagoda, Thung Nham Bird Valley, Bich Dong Pagoda, or Cuc Phuong National Park

For one day, it’s best to choose around 3–4 activities to make the most of your trip.
As a general guideline, the maximum is 4–5 activities (ex: 4 main attractions plus 1 light activity (such as cycling or duck feeding)) when starting from Ninh Binh, or 3–4 activities (ex: 3 main attractions plus 1 light activity (such as cycling or duck feeding) when starting from Hanoi).
If you would like to visit more than this, additional charges will apply to cover the extra travel time and operating costs.
You can travel by yourself with a private driver or add a local guide for deeper cultural insights and support in English.
Lunch at a fine-dining restaurant if you visit the Tam Coc area. If you choose a Trang An boat ride, the nearby restaurants are not always consistent in quality, so we prefer a local restaurant with more reliable food rather than fine dining.
If you'd really like to try Ninh Binh goat meat, please let us know in advance and we'll do our best to arrange it.

Tours starting from Ninh Binh: max 9 hours/day, including hotel pickup/drop-off — sightseeing ends by 6:00 PM at the latest (e.g. 8:30 AM–5:00 PM or 8:30 AM–5:30 PM)
Tours starting from Hanoi: sightseeing in Ninh Binh is expected to finish by 5:30 PM — the return drive to Hanoi isn’t counted in this. Overtime charges apply if sightseeing itself runs past that time

Important Information
- Please note that our driver is not English-speaking and will use Google Translate to assist you throughout the journey
- The parking area and ticket counter are often far apart, so the driver can only drop you at the ticket counter and must then move the vehicle to the parking area
- With a driver-only service, the driver is responsible for drop-off and pick-up only, you generally need to purchase the entrance tickets yourself. Our office can assist where possible, but many tickets cannot be purchased online, so you may need to handle them directly
- Please confirm your selected destinations at least 2 hours before departure
- Wear comfortable clothes and shoes for walking or climbing
- Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat for outdoor visits
- Vegetarian lunch option available upon request
- Tour starts from Hanoi or Ninh Binh; return the same day
- If add-ons: For 2–3 guests, the Deluxe vehicle will be a Kia Carnival. For 4 guests or max 9 guests, we will use a Deluxe Limousine
