A famous street that formerly was named Rue Catinat during the French colonial period. Nowadays, Dong Khoi street is a famous shopping street in the center of Ho Chi Minh City where shop lovers can find a mixture of local boutiques and international brands mixed together, accompanied by restaurants and bars to fill your stomach and stop your thirst on your shopping break.
From here you can combine shopping with sightseeing if you would like, because on this street you will also find the Saigon Opera, which is a few hundred meters from the Peoples Committee and a short walk to Xa Paris street where the Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office are located.
