Description

Detailed Itinerary 3D2N: Starting Point: Sapa stone church (9am) pick up by me or my daughter DAY 1: Explore Dragon Mountain and Hang Da Village (10–12 km, 5 or 6 hours) Climb Dragon Mountain, one of Sapa's spectacular peaks, where you can exercise, enjoy nature, and take in panoramic views over Sapa town. From the top, enjoy floating clouds, mountains, and small houses hidden in the mist. Take photos and breathe in the fresh mountain air. After relaxing and enjoying the high-mountain scenery, continue down to Hang Da Village. Surrounded by mountains and nature, the village's quiet atmosphere offers a peaceful escape. Enjoy lunch at the restaurant, then hike around the terraced rice fields before checking in at Mama Shushu Homestay in Muong Hoa Valley, where I am staying. -Check in at the homestay and have time to relax. In the evening, enjoy a warm home-cooked dinner with my family, experience authentic cultural traditions, taste “happy water” and sing together (karaoke) DAY 2: Bamboo Forest – Waterfall – Nature Exploration (7–9 km, 3–4 hours) Wake up to the peaceful sounds of nature and enjoy a warm breakfast and coffee at my homestay. Then begin a gentle trek into the lush bamboo forest, where sunlight filters through green leaves, creating a magical and refreshing atmosphere. Continue the journey to a natural waterfall, where you can listen to the soothing sound of flowing water, relax, take photos, and fully immerse yourself in nature. This is one of the most peaceful and healing moments of the trip. Have lunch in the village with simple local dishes. In the afternoon, trek back to the homestay along a different route, passing more rice terraces and local homes, observing daily life in the mountains. Spend another night at the homestay, enjoying free time or interacting with my family. DAY 3: Muong Hoa Valley – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Return to Sapa (8–9 km, 4 hours) After breakfast, continue trekking through some of the most beautiful landscapes in Sapa toward Muong Hoa Valley, famous for its stunning terraced rice fields and scenic stream. You will pass through villages such as Lao Chai and Ta Van, meet local Hmong and Giay people, and learn about their traditions, lifestyle, and culture.
