Day 1: Cao Bang – Craft Villages – Ngoc Con Valley – Ban Gioc Waterfall
08:00 Meet the local guide, and go to the local shop to enjoy a traditional Cao Bang breakfast such as rice rolls, roasted duck noodles, or sour pho, iconic dishes of Cao Bang cuisine
08:30 Drive to Ma Phuc Pass, a spectacular limestone gateway linked to the legend of Tay hero Nung Tri Cao (11th century)
Continue to Dia Tren Paper Village, where the Nung An people still craft handmade paper once used for calligraphy and folk art
09:30 Continue to Phuc Sen Blacksmith Village, known for centuries-old forging traditions. Watch artisans make tools from recycled steel and try forging yourself with local guidance
11:30 Stop at the peaceful Ngoc Con Valley near the Vietnam–China border, with rice fields, limestone peaks
12:30 Enjoy lunch with local dishes
13:30 Explore Nguom Ngao Cave (approx. 40 minutes), a spectacular limestone cave with impressive stalactites and natural formations
15:00 Visit the breathtaking Ban Gioc Waterfall, one of the world’s largest cross-border waterfalls, cascading across multiple tiers
16:00 Stop at Truc Lam Phat Tich Pagoda, perched above the falls for panoramic views and a peaceful atmosphere
17:00 Check in at a riverside homestay on the Quay Son River. Relax, swim, or join the host family to cook dinner

Day 2: Craft Villages – Angel Eye Mountain – Cao Bang
08:00 Breakfast at the homestay in the fresh mountain air
08:30 Visit Ban Viet Lake, a quiet forest lake surrounded by hills, perfect for photography and relaxation
09:30 Explore Lung Ri Yin-Yang Tile Village, famous for handmade roof tiles used in traditional stilt-house architecture of the Nung An, Tay, and Lo Lo communities, a living craft heritage of Cao Bang
12:00 Lunch with local specialties
13:00 Visit a traditional incense-making village, where bamboo incense sticks are crafted by hand, an important part of Vietnamese spiritual culture
14:30 Discover Angel Eye Mountain, a surreal limestone peak with a giant natural hole at its centre. Set in a wide valley with grazing horses and buffalo, the scenery is often compared to a miniature Tibetan grassland
16:00 Return to Cao Bang City. If time allows, stop at the local market before drop-off

Important Information
- This tour is designed for self-riding by motorbike. To ride legally in Vietnam, guests must have a valid International Motorbike Driving Permit. Before departure, guests will sign a liability waiver. If you don’t have an international license or prefer not to self-ride, you can choose one of the two alternative options we provide:
Option 1: Passenger with a local motorbike driver: +USD 25 per driver/day
Option 2: Private car: +USD 50 per car/day (max 5 passengers; you can split the cost with other travelers in the same car)
Accommodation & Meals: Stay in a local homestay with basic amenities, and enjoy simple local dishes.
