Right after you book, our team contacts you on WhatsApp to confirm your pickup time and collect the details needed for your tour insurance. Cave tickets, buggy and boat are paid separately: you can pay our team at this point, or pay your guide in cash on the day.
07:30 – 08:00 | Hotel pickup in Dong Hoi
Your guide and driver pick you up in an air-conditioned 16–18 seat Ford Transit (2025–2026 model). Checking out today? Leave your luggage on board — it stays with the vehicle all day.
08:00 | Along the Ho Chi Minh Trail
On the drive to Phong Nha, your guide shares the wartime history of the trail and the villages along it.
08:45 | Pickup in Phong Nha town
Guests staying in Phong Nha join the group at their hotels.
09:00 | Paradise Cave (about 2.5 hours)
A 1.6 km electric buggy ride through the forest (ticket paid separately) and a short hike bring you to the entrance. Inside, ceilings rise up to 60 meters and chambers stretch 120 meters wide. Wooden walkways lead you past stalactites and stalagmites under soft lighting, with time to stop for photos. Reaching the cave involves around 500 steps.
11:30 | Lunch break in Phong Nha
Join the group at a local restaurant with vegetarian options, or eat on your own — lunch is optional.
13:30 | Boat trip into Phong Nha Cave (about 2.5 hours)
A wooden dragon boat takes you 30 minutes along the Son River, past riverside villages and limestone mountains, and straight into Phong Nha Cave (boat and cave ticket paid separately). Inside, you'll see underground rivers, rock terraces and formations shaped like curtains and pillars.

Important Information
- Cave tickets, buggy and boat are paid separately. Pay our team after booking, or in cash to your guide on the day
- Children under 2 join free of charge. For children aged 2 and over, please book adult tickets only. Our customer care team will then contact you to confirm each child's height and the child price, as entrance fees and some services vary by height
- Paradise Cave involves around 500 steps. Please consider this before booking if you have knee or mobility concerns
- Wear comfortable shoes and bring cash for any personal expenses
- Keep your belongings with you when leaving the boat at Phong Nha Cave
- Drop-off at Anh Quoc Hotel, Len Chua Hotel and Chay Lap Hotel is not included in the tour price
