Tandoor Indian Restaurant
Vietnam
Tandoor, popular Indian Restaurant serving since 1997 and run by the Indian owner, Mr. Subhash, has recently moved to a new location in Ngo Duc Ke Street. This new place, which is just off Nguyen Hue street is close to many Hotels and has a very cosy atmosphere having a large dining area in a single floor. The interior is plush and chic, giving you a warm Indian dining experience
Tandoor refers to the clay pot used in the far North of India to barbecue breads and meats. But Tandoor the restaurant also serves delicious South Indian food. This means food made mostly from rice and lentils. North Indian foods are more wheat-based. For the outside world, however, Indian cuisine simply means North Indian, the ubiquituous bread and curry.
So, at Tandoor, treat your palate to tasty breads, delicious curries, and succulent kebabs. But also go on a culinary adventure to discover the huge, little-explored world of non-bread-and-curry Indian food.
Four Indian chefs run the show in the kitchen, each specializing in their respective food. One chef focuses all time on the starter meals, one for the BBQ dishes and bread (or Nan), one for curry and one for southern Indian cuisine. Together they make some of the most delicious halal and vegetarian food in the city.
Either come down for a fun meal with friends or stay at home - they'll deliver free of charge!
Enjoy the food and drinks
