Saigon Saigon Bar
Vietnam
Saigon Saigon Bar is the place where daily war correspondents had their briefings in the American/Vietnam war. During the war, the journalists used to have a clear view to the fighting across the river while they enjoyed their beers and discussed their stories. The view from this rooftop is still amazing, but much more peaceful as you watch the sun go down on the city. You can also watch the chaos of the Saigon rush hour traffic from 9 stories up and you can see at least four other rooftop bars that have no such rich history. You can also look straight down on the Opera House.
The bar is nicely decorated with wooden furniture and sepia pictures from the past. This is a perfect place to enjoy your cocktail, with a nice view, while listening to a Latin Live Band performance. With drinks more on the expensive side, it is still worth stopping in for at least 1 drink.
