INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL EXPO HO CHI MINH CITY 2015

The Largest and Most Established Travel Exhibition in Vietnam and the Mekong Region is back for its 11th Edition!

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – The 11th edition of the International Travel Exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (ITE HCMC) is back! Well regarded as the largest and most established travel exhibition in Vietnam and the Mekong region, this coming edition is set to be biggest show since its establishment, with many new and repeat exhibitors coming onboard.

Held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City from the 10th to 12th September 2015, ITE HCMC 2015 will cover 6,000 square metres. The exhibition will showcase more than 350 companies and brands from more than 21 countries with over 22,500 trade and public visitors expected in attendance.

ITE HCMC 2015 provides an excellent platform to launch and better understand the tourism in Vietnam and the Mekong region. This year, the exhibition will feature 6 key segments, including: Leisure Travel, Luxury Travel, Medical Tourism, MICE, Education Tourism and Spa & Wellness.

ITE HCMC 2015 is privileged to gain the recognition as the only national tourism event endorsed by Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism, Vietnam and People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City as well as the support and endorsement by the Mekong Tourism Alliance – Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.  The exhibition will also feature numerous country pavilions, including: Amazing Thailand, It’s more fun in the Philippines, Imagine your Korea, Visit Berlin, Malaysia – Endless Celebrations, Vietnam – Timeless Charm, Cambodia Kingdom of Wonder, Laos Simply Beautiful, Mystical Myanmar and many more.

The organising committee comprises of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, VINEXAD and Informa Exhibitions. Together, the committee has put together a series of new and exciting features and programmes for the exhibition, catering to tourism industry professionals, dignitaries, ministries and the general public.

ITE HCMC 2015 has marked the reinforcement of the “5 Countries - One Single Destination” program, a Lower Mekong Sub-regional event for tourism promotion of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam following Vientiane Declaration of 6th ACMECS.

About ITE HCMC

Established in 2005, ITE HCMC has been regarded as Vietnam’s foremost tourism trade event. About the Organising Committee

Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT)

A governmental agency which exercises the state management of tourist operations and activities throughout Vietnam. It has full control in terms of business development, planning, public relations, personnel training, conducting research, instructing and inspecting the implementation of policies and other regulations in the tourism sector.

HCMC Department of Tourism

A city government organisation, responsible for tourist related business administration and management. Some core functions of this department is in the support of travel business activities through the organisation of events that will promote the city's destination and enhance its image.

Vietnam Trade Fair & Advertising Joint Stock Company (VINEXAD)

A state owned company belonging to the Ministry of Industry & Trade. They are responsible for the coordination and implementation of trade promotion activities through the organisation of exhibitions, trade fairs and the like in Vietnam and participating in international exhibitions.
