Description

Day 1: Sapa – Sa Seng – Hang Da -Hau Thao – Muong Hoa (13-16km, 5-6 hours) Begin your adventure with a morning pickup from your hotel in Sapa or in front of Sapa’s main church. After a short introduction, hike 2 km uphill on a small trail to the mountain views where you will get to see the Fansipan mountain 3.143 m, highest in Indochina and see all of Sapa town. From here, see the famous and most significant rice terrace fields in Vietnam (in Muong Hoa valley) as well as see the most significant river and valley in Sapa. After enjoying the beautiful landscape, continue your way on mountainside down to Hang Da, a village of Black Hmong minority. See some animals such as buffalos, cores, pigs. Then, have lunch at a small restaurant run by a local family. After lunch, make your way on a little road down to Hau Thao, a village of Black Hmong ethnic minority then Muong Hoa village of Black Hmong people. See the local’s daily life and, if it’s the right time, see the local people working on the fields such as harvesting or planting rice. Finish the tour after doing a trek through villages of the minorities. Come to the homestay and stay overnight with the local family. Day 2: Muong Hoa Valley the biggest & most famous valley – Su Pan Lake- Giang Ta Chai Dao – Bamboo forest – Ta Van - Lao Chai (5-6 hours trekking, 11-12 km) At 9:00am, start your day and follow your guide to see the local people. Then, head down to the valley along to the lake to the village of Red Dao minority. Visit a local family, community school, go through the rice fields and through bamboo forest to Ta Van of Day people. At 12:00pm, stop for lunch in a homestay or village restaurant in Lao Chai Village. After lunch, continue going to other sides of the valley to Lao Chai San 2 and back to Sapa finishing the tour after seeing many different of 3 minorities visiting some local people’ house and some schools as well.
