Description

8:00 – 11:30: The local guide picks you up from your hotel and you begin the trek toward Sa Seng Village. The trail follows a rugged mountain road overlooking the valley, passing through Black H’Mong villages. The H’Mong people have only recently shifted from a nomadic lifestyle to settled homes, so you can still see traces of their past in the simple stone-walled houses. From here, the trek continues across the top of Ham Rong Mountain. 11:30 – 13:00 – Have Lunch at Hang Da Village. The road to the village clings to a cliff on one side and opens to the vast Muong Hoa Valley on the other. Hang Da sits at an altitude of over 1,800 meters, surrounded by forests, wildflowers in seasonal bloom, and sweeping terraced fields. This is one of Sapa’s most beautiful spots for cloud hunting, offering peaceful air, dramatic mountain views, and a quiet, refreshing highland atmosphere. 13:15 – 16:00 – Trek toward Sapa’s highest villages: Sapa Sha in Hau Thao and Thao Hong Den. Leaving Hang Da, the trail becomes gentler with panoramic views of Muong Hoa Valley. Along the way are many scenic points perfect for photos. Upon reaching Thao Hong Den, you can rest and visit local homes in Sapa Sa before continuing toward the center of Hau Thao Commune. Sa Pa Sha village, in Hau Chu Ngai, Muong Hoa commune, sits peacefully on the mountainside. Home to warm and honest H’Mong people, it offers a glimpse of ancient Sa Pa with traditional rooftops hidden among trees. From the village, you can take in a full panorama of Muong Hoa Valley below. On sunny days, the village provides breathtaking views of Muong Hoa Valley, like a “gate of heaven.” In winter, a vast sea of clouds spreads below, and on foggy days, the mountain paths feel magical and otherworldly. 16:00 – 16:30 – End the day’s trek at Su Pan Village then the car will pick you up to comeback Sapa town Su Pan where life follows the rhythm of nature. The area is home to Black H’Mong and Red Dao families living on rocky slopes overlooking the Muong Hoa Valley. End of trip, relax in Sapa town night atmosphere.
