Description

6:00 am, the tour starts with a pick up from the hotel in the city centre to explore the captivating Black Lady Mountain, leave the buzz of Ho Chi Minh City behind, drive approximately 3-hours to the northeast of Tay Ninh province. This mountain boasts an impressive altitude of 986 meters, making it the highest peak in the entire South of Vietnam. This soaring height contributes to the allure of the site, attracting visitors from far and wide. The natural scenery surrounding Ba Den Mountain is simply enchanting, with awe-inspiring landscapes that captivate the hearts of all who venture there. You'll be greeted by the sight of Lady Buddha when you reach the top with a total height of 72 meter, cast with more than 170 tons of bronze, the Buddha statue has been recognized as “Asia’s highest copper structure located on a mountain’s peak” and “The tallest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam located on a mountain’s peak” by the World Guinness Records. Happy Buddha statue or the Buddha of the future. This Buddha’s greatest joy is transforming human sadness, anger and stress into joy and happiness, covering a 4,651-square-meter area with a height of 36 meters, a maximum width of 45 meters, and weighs a total of 5,112 tons. The statue was shaped by a distinctive method, assembled from 6,688 natural sandstone pieces, and inspired by terraced fields. 11:30 am, visit Cao Dai Temple - a unique religion in Vietnam that worships the “Eye of God” and combines elements of Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism, and Confucianism. Explore the temple’s vibrant and symbolic design, learn about its beliefs and practices and immerse yourself in the noon ceremony, where followers gather to pray. 12:30 pm, enjoy local delicious lunch at the local restaurant before heading to Cu Chi tunnels. 3:00 pm, explore Cu Chi Tunnels an immense and complicated underground network located in the Cu Chi Province. They were used as hiding spots as well as serving as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for the Vietnamese guerrilla fighters, otherwise known as the Vietcong. The tunnels were a source of frustration for the enermies. Not only were they heavily booby trapped, dangerous animals such as snakes and scorpions lurked around. The tunnels were also small, making it hard for generally larger Western soldiers to enter. The clever design along with the strategic placement of traps and air filtration systems rendered American technology ineffective. Your adventure will conclude as you return to Saigon between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
