2-Day Hanoi & Ninh Binh Tour from Halong Port Day 1: Halong Port → Hanoi City Tour → Overnight in Ninh Binh Please take the shuttle bus to the terminal gate. We will be waiting there with a name board. Kindly disembark as early as possible so we have more time to explore Hanoi. Arrive in the Old Quarter and begin your city tour. Walk around Hoan Kiem Lake and pass by Ngoc Son Temple, then continue with a walking tour through Ta Hien Street, Dong Xuan Market, and Tran Quoc Pagoda. Try local snacks or the famous egg coffee. Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, or visit the National History Museum or the B52 Museum (your choice). Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including the outside of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, and the One Pillar Pagoda. Stop at Train Street for a unique café experience (depending on the train schedule). After your Hanoi tour, transfer to Ninh Binh. Check in at your hotel, conveniently located near the night food market, giving you free time to explore the area by yourself in the evening. Overnight in Ninh Binh. Day 2: Ninh Binh Highlights → Return to Halong Port Begin your day at Bái Đính Pagoda, the largest Buddhist complex in Vietnam. Explore the Great Buddha Hall, the 500-Arhat corridor, and the impressive bell tower. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and sample signature Ninh Binh specialties. Then enjoy a 2–2.5 hour sampan boat ride through the Tràng An Scenic Complex, passing through limestone mountains, peaceful waterways, and several natural caves. This UNESCO site was a filming location for Kong: Skull Island. Next, hike Múa Cave, climbing 500 steps to reach Lying Dragon Peak, the most stunning panoramic viewpoint in Ninh Binh overlooking the Tam Coc valley.
