Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau Your journey begins in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where the group meets at the Opera House to board the bus heading to Mai Chau. Here, you can visit local stands selling regional products and try “Com Lam,” a local specialty of sticky rice cooked in bamboo. Upon arrival in Mai Chau, considered the cultural heart of the Thai ethnic group, check into a traditional stilt house homestay. Savor a delicious lunch featuring Northwest mountain specialties. After a short rest, you can relax by take a leisurely walk through the village's narrow alleys to soak in the serene local life. In the afternoon, embark on a cycling tour through the picturesque Mai Chau valley. Pedal past lush rice paddies and quaint villages, gaining insight into the daily life and traditions of the White Thai ethnic group. End the day with a hearty dinner and a peaceful night at the homestay. Day 2: Mai Chau – Pu Luong – Hanoi Start your day with an early breakfast to prepare for the adventure ahead. A short drive takes you to the pristine Pu Luong Nature Reserve. As you ascend, you’ll encounter stunning views of infinity rice terraces and lush greenery. From the hilltop, the trek continues toward Villages, a secluded and serene spot that captures the essence of Pu Luong’s natural charm.
