You'll also stop at the beautiful LAP AN LAGOON (Lang Co town), is a beautiful brackish water area surrounded by calm waters and beautiful rolling mountains. 11:00 - 11:15 AM Continue to the main attraction of Hue, the IMPERIAL CITADEL, is the Home of Vietnam's last Royal Dynasty (Nguyen Dynasty). Explore the area and check out the impressive structures. This is a big area with local people still living today, and surrounded by walls to protect Royal Family Members living in the middle (Imperial City & Forbidden City). 1:00 - 1:15 PM Stop for lunch at a local restaurant and enjoy some specialty regional cuisine. 2:00 - 2:15 PM Stop at the THIEN MU PAGODA, the most ancient temple of Hue, has not only a beautiful landscape and architecture, but also a significance in the historical journey of the previous capital, the center of power of the last feudal dynasty in Vietnam. 3:00 PM Head to the Mausoleum of EMPEROR KHAI DINH (the 12th Emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty), demonstrating the perfect combination of the traditional architectural style of the Nguyen Dynasty and the modern style of the West, creating a unique and sophisticated architectural complex,... Hue Citadel: which was recognized by UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage in 1993. Experiencing many vicissitudes of history, Hue Citadel is still long-lasting and retains unforgettable historical values.
