Day 1: Wild Beauty, Island Legends, and Sunset Magic Begin your adventure with an early morning flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Côn Đảo. Check into your hotel and enjoy a local breakfast with island vibes. Try bún riêu Côn Đảo, bánh mì chả cá, and iced coffee at a tiny local shop. Next, visit the Côn Đảo Prison for a guided tour. Hear stories about “Tiger Cages” survivors, secrets of Phú Hải Prison, and rituals prisoners did to survive. This becomes one of the most emotional and unforgettable parts of your trip. For lunch, enjoy a seafood feast at a local favorite. Try grilled oysters with green onion, bạch tuộc nướng (charcoal octopus), local “moon crab” if available, and giant sea snails in garlic butter. In the afternoon, visit Bãi Nhát, a hidden beach only visible at low tide. Relax on the soft sand and take incredible photos. Then, head to Dam Trâu Beach to watch planes land right overhead. Relax with coconuts while planes land right overhead. The beach is famous for its soft golden sand, clear warm water, and chill beach bars. The atmosphere is spiritual, peaceful, and deeply emotional. Day 2: Jungle Trek, Turtles, Island Adventure, and Viewpoints Start the day with a sunrise at the pier, a magical experience.
