DescriptionExperience the scenic beauty of Ha Long Bay on a 3-day cruise, with round-trip transfers from Hanoi's Old Quarter. Discover a UNESCO World Heritage Site of astonishing beauty and marvel at the limestone karst rock formations and many islands and islets with curious names. Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay – Bai Tu Long Bay Following pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter between 07:30 AM and 07:45 AM, journey to the city of Ha Long for an estimated arrival time of 12:30 PM. Get a welcome drink and safety briefing at the start of your cruise of Ha Long Bay. A delicious Vietnamese lunch will be served at 01:30 PM as your sail among the karst rock formations of the legendary bay. Head to Bai Tu Long Bay (03:15 PM - 03:40 PM), passing the villages of Hon Gai and Cam Pha, along with Oan Lagoon and the islets of “Monster Head” and “Teapot.” Discover the hidden cave of Thien Canh Son, and marvel at the stalactite and stalagmite formations before taking a dip in the emerald green waters. Drop anchor at 06:00 PM in the calm waters of Cong Dam islet, where you will enjoy a sunset party with happy hour followed by dinner at 07:15 PM. Then, relax with a movie or some dancing from 09:00 PM. Day 2: Bai Tu Long Bay – Vung Ha – Cong Do Rise early for a Tai Chi session on the sundeck at 06:15 AM, including complimentary tea and coffee before a buffet breakfast in the restaurant between 07:15 AM and 08:00 AM. At 08:30 AM, transfer to a smaller boat and cruise around Bai Tu Long Bay. Visit the Cap La area deep in the bay to encounter hidden lagoons covered by majestic limestone islands and islets with wild beaches. Stop for a swim at a private beach at 09:30 AM, followed by a barbecue lunch on the beach at 12:30 PM (depending on the weather or tide levels). Discover one of the largest and well-hidden caves of Bai Tu Long Bay at Master Cave (02:00 PM). Then, return to the boat at 04:00 PM and cruise to your second night’s anchor near Cong Do. Dinner will be served on board the boat at 07:15 PM, followed by time to relax with a movie or some dancing from 09:00 PM. Day 3: Vung Vieng Floating Village - Hanoi Rise early for another Tai Chi session on the sundeck at 06:15 AM. Get some complimentary tea and coffee before breakfast at 07:00 AM. Between 07:45 AM and 09:00 AM, visit the floating village of Vung Vieng and experience everyday life in Ha Long Bay. Take a short visit to a pearl farm to learn how natural pearls are grown. Then, return to your cruise ship or join one of the optional activities. At 09:45 AM, you will get 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. Then, check out of your cabin by 10:00 AM and go to the dining room for a Vietnamese cooking class. Enjoy a set menu lunch in the dining room at 10:30 AM and then relax as you cruise back to the harbor. Arrive at Hon Gai Harbor at 11:45 AM, where a vehicle will be waiting to take you back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at approximately 04:30 PM to enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
