DescriptionAfter being collected from your accommodation by motorbike, you will venture towards your first stop, the Thich Quang Duc Monument where you will be informed about the stories of the monk who burnt himself alive in 1963 in an attempt to protect Buddhism. Following this monument, you will visit the 'Oldest Apartment', which, built in 1968, will allow you to see the local life and cultures of Vietnamese people. Afterwards, it will be time to enjoy many different kinds of flowers in the largest flower market in the city. Here you will be able to take many beautiful photos with nice flowers, learning more about the cultures of buying flowers in Vietnam. Your next stop will be to Chinatown, and more specifically, the Chinese Temple. Here you will stop at the beautiful temple where you will enjoy the nice views of a collection of a thousand Buddha statues. Your guide will provide you with information about Chinese culture in Vietnam; and more specifically Chinese religions in Vietnam. Your last stop of the tour will be to a silver jewellery factory and handmade silver jewellery experience. Your guide will inform you of the history and culture of Vietnamese silversmiths, and this overall profession in general. You will also be shown the process of making sophisticated silver jewellery, as you connect with local silver jewellery artisans. You will have a chance to make meaningful and unique silver items by yourself over the space of 2.5-hours, being guided by the well-skilled and creative silversmiths. At the end of the tour, your guide will say goodbye to you with a special Vietnamese gift before dropping you off back at your accommodation.
