DescriptionDay 1: Hanoi to Halong Bay with lunch and dinner. Be collected from your accommodation between 7:45 AM and 8:15 AM. At 10:00 AM have a short break in the Hai Duong Province. You will arrive between 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM. Embark on the Lavender Cruise and receive a short cruise briefing and welcome-drink. Then you can check into your cabin and freshen up. At 1:15 PM lunch will be served. You can sample regional fresh seafood while cruising along the exquisite water. Pass Incense Burner island, Fighting Cock islet, and Stone Dog. The Lavender Cruise will take you through Ha Long Bay on the most wonderful route where only a few cruises go. Between 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM you can choose to either go kayaking through the magnificent landscape of Limestone Mountains, visit Titop Island to go swimming, or relax on the sun-deck and see fantastic views at The Bay. Return to the Lavender Cruise and join the sunset party. Pass by Soi Sim Beach and Rang Dua Island to the sleeping area near the Surprise Cave. Join the cooking class in the restaurant and learn how to make fresh and fried spring rolls and mix up a fish-sauce. At 7:30 PM, under the magnificent night sky, your set-menu dinner, with a variety of Vietnamese and Asian food, is served. The evening activities include squid fishing, playing cards, and karaoke. If you prefer, you can laze at the bar with happy-hour drinks. Day 2: Halong Bay to Hanoi with breakfast and lunch. At 6:15 there will be morning exercises on the sun-deck. Then, at 7:15 AM breakfast with coffee, tea, and baked goods will be served. At 8:00 AM you will visit the Surprise Cave (Hang Sung Sot), which was discovered by the French in 1901. It was opened to tourists in 1936 and now is a must-see because it is a symbol of the geological value of Halong Bay. 9:30 AM is checking out time. Then, relax on the sun-deck or inside the restaurant to enjoy the bay’s scenery. At 10:15 AM enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch while you cruise back to the pier. At 12:00 PM, return to the land where a car will drive back to Hanoi for 4:30 PM.
