As you continue your journey out of the city, you will stop briefly at a local rubber plantation before heading to the tunnels. Upon arriving at the Ben Dinh Tunnels, you will go through the subway to enter into the old base of the Viet Cong. You will be surrounded by thick forest, shaded by beautiful trees and bamboo. Your tour guide will show you around the location while explaining the magnificent, clever tunnels. Prepare to be amazed by the cunning traps and the sheer resourcefulness of the Viet Cong. From camouflaged entrances into the tunnels, bamboo booby traps and the intricate ventilation system, you will see it all! Next, it will be your turn to experience the tunnels up close. Embrace this amazing experience by dipping underground and exploring the tunnels. To end your Cu Chi tunnel experience, you’ll get to learn about the amazing hidden kitchens that were inside the tunnels and even try out some typical Viet Cong food. As you move through the unique location you’ll also get the chance to shoot some guns, such as bazookas and AK47’s (at an additional cost. Before returning to the hustle and bustle of Saigon, you will go to visit a local family to experience their local life. The owner will be very happy to show you their house, and will even teach you how to make rice paper. After what promises to be an unforgettable and memorable morning, you will begin your journey back to Ho Chi Minh City.
