Day 1: Market Colors or Craft Heritage by Car Your adventure begins in the morning from Sa Pa. The journey is made comfortable by private car, heading deep into the cultural heart of the highlands. Option 1: Sunday (Bac Ha Market) You'll be immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of the Bac Ha Market. Your guide will introduce the market and lead you to various sections (from livestock and produce to textiles). The guide will share fascinating facts and insights about this highland market, helping you understand the trading culture of the ethnic minorities, who are all dressed in their spectacular traditional attire. You'll enjoy lunch amidst this lively environment. In the afternoon, the journey continues by car to the magnificent Hoang A Tuong Mansion. You’ll spend time learning about the history and unique architecture of this ancient residence, a testament to the power of the former local lord. Option 2: Weekday (Ban Pho Corn Wine Village) Arriving at Ban Pho, your guide will lead you to explore the village that still maintains the famous corn wine craft. The guide will explain the history of wine-making and the unique manual production process. Most importantly, guests will have the opportunity to sample the renowned wine flavor famous throughout the Northwest mountains, right where it originated. After a local lunch, you'll explore the impressive Hoang A Tuong Mansion, learning in detail about its history and unique architecture. Both itineraries converge as you journey back by car to the tranquil Ta Van Village, Sapa. You'll check into your cozy local homestay hosted by the Giay people. The evening includes a home-cooked dinner featuring local specialties. This is your opportunity for a deep cultural exchange with your hosts, sharing stories and learning about the daily life and traditions of the Giay people before settling in for the night. Day 2: Trekking and Village Life Exploration Wake up to the stunning scenery of the Muong Hoa Valley. After a warm breakfast prepared by your Giay hosts, your guide will accompany you on a morning trek through the peaceful village. You'll hike along the rice terraces (seasonal), admire the majestic mountains, and gain detailed insights into the daily life, activities, and traditional homes of the local villagers. After lunch, the tour concludes. You will return to Sa Pa by car, enriched with beautiful memories and a deeper appreciation for the unique culture of the Northern Highlands.
