Description

Become a PADI Rescue Diver and learn how to prevent problems, manage emergencies, and confidently assist other divers. Improve your awareness and response skills, learn self-rescue techniques, and practice real-world rescue scenarios. Ideal for divers who want to take the next step in their training and become safer, more capable dive buddies, this course is one of the most rewarding and empowering courses in scuba diving. Courses are taught in small groups to ensure a safe, relaxed, and personalised learning experience. Course dates are arranged to fit your travel plans and availability. Complete the academic portion via PADI eLearning before your first dive day. It covers rescue techniques, emergency management, and diver psychology—and it’s included in the course price. The course takes place over 3 days, including confined water practice and open water rescue scenarios. Learn to recognise and respond to diver stress, assist tired or panicked divers, handle missing diver situations, perform in-water rescues and exits, and use emergency oxygen and equipment. On boat days, depart from the harbour at 7:30 AM. Enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, and fresh fruit onboard. Lunch is served on the way back to the harbour. Expect to return around 3:00 PM.

• Must be a certified Advanced Open Water Diver with PADI or another organisation Must have 25 logged dives Must have completed CPR and First Aid training within the past 24 months
