Description

The trip begins with pickup from your accommodation or the airport in Hanoi followed by a private tour of the city’s highlights. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and the One-Pillar Pagoda, then explore the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam. Before lunch enjoy a Green Car tour are the city’s Old Quarter, and then travel to your host-family for the night. Upon arrival at your local family’s home, enjoy a cooking class and learn about authentic Vietnamese delicacies and cooking techniques. Spend the evening with the family, eating the food you prepared, listening to stories, and playing games. On the second day, wake up early and travel into the Vietnamese countryside to visit a market and eat breakfast. Wander around the market and mingle with the locals, before visiting a nearby ancient trade village known for pottery and noodle making. Admire the traditional houses in the village and immerse yourself in the daily life of the people who live here. Learn about the locals’ lifestyle, traditions and culture and then enjoy another cooking class with different recipes from the day before. After lunch with your host family it's time to say your goodbyes before returning to Hanoi city.
