Enjoy an afternoon walking tour of Hanoi’s Old Quarter and see historic attractions as well as local markets, homes, and shops. Meeting at Dinh Tien Hoang, transfer to the north shore of Hoan Kiem Lake for the start of your walk. Stop at Ngoc Son Temple, located on an island at the north end of the lake which is connected to the mainland by a bridge. Continue to Hang Be to soak up the vibrant atmosphere of one of the city’s busiest markets where residents shop for all manner of goods. Stroll to the Historic House on Ma May Street. Built at the end of the 19th century, the heritage home was restored in 1999 to preserve the old architecture of Hanoians before the encroachment of modern-day life. Wander down busy streets, passing street stalls, and stopping at Hang Quat Street to visit an old stamp maker. Continue to St. Joseph’s Cathedral, built by the French in 1887. Then end at a café overlooking Hoan Kiem Lake for a reviving cup of coffee.Includes
